I had a question how are you guys filling to 230 bar which is 3335 PSI ? The air Venturi 4500 only goes to 2900 psi I seem to have to refill my wildcat at 150 bar 2175psi or it starts to drop off !! I don’t think I will be able to get 40 or 50 shots within 200 bar and 150 bar

I have a 300 bar scuba tank, I used to have the FX handpump (250 bar) and I have a 300 bar compressor coming in on Friday

Most people use a 4500psi CF (carbon fiber) SCBA tank. They aren't cheap, but well worth it in terms of trips to get the tank refilled or not being able to completely fill your gun.

Keep in mind many steel scuba tanks are 3500 PSI. Granted this is only 241 Bar approximately, but by cascading 100cuft 3500PSI steel scuba tanks I am able to get many, many fills. Did I mention they are much heavier than Carbon Fiber tanks? Did I mention I would be happier with a 100 cuft CF tank? Hey, you use what you have available.

I have the air venture a carbon fiber air tank 4500 psi 90 in. the output is regulated to only 2900 psi I thought that would be good since airgun depot sold as a package I realize now I need something more

I put some different gages my air venture small tank, Same gages as on my great white, Yea cost as much as the tank,
But have you noticed when you release the air on the tank after you filled your gun with the stock gages You lose a LOT of air.
And the high pressure valve thing popped once lost all my air,
I said screw it, Called Joe and he fixed me up, Life time gages not life time tank,
Oh and before I bought my Sheldon compressor , I had a safety oil field place used to fill my Great White tank,
They would fill to 4500 and when I got home it would show 4200,
Next time I was talking to a couple of guys that did not speak good English that filled my tank, I went and paid in the office, 38, buck each fill,
I did not check pressure until I got home and the gauge was on 5000 psi and I filled my small tank up a few times before the needle moved.
I am glad it did not break my gauge,

Its not cheap but I use a Great White scba tank. My local dive shop fills to 4500psi. I get alot of shooting off this tank with my .22 pcp that likes to be filled to 230bar.
My dad has the tiger shark scba tank and is just as happy with it.

I have 3 SCBA tanks. I use a 6000 psi N2 tank to top them off. I also have a small 90ci buddy bottle but never use it. I got it to take to the field when I had big bore guns.

I use a Hill hand pump. 200 to 230 Bar not easy. Thats about my max. I have to put all my weight on pump to make 230. I think a compressor is in my future.

Fx 4 stage pump. It's a great pump. The best one to reach those kind of pressures. You can change between 4 stages (low volume at higher pressures) and 3 stage (high volume at lower pressures). You use it in 3 stages up to 170 bar aprox and then you change to 4 stage. Fill it to 220 it's not a problem for me, filling a 480cc bottle. Anyways, you need good phisical condition.

I have the same problem with the Air Venturi tank. If I want to fill my Wildcat to 230, I have to pump it. I have heard that there is a way to increase the regulated output pressure. Maybe someone can address this.

Can you remove the regulator? I know that the valve can be replaced with an unregulated valve but that is more money.
