Hawke 2-7 X32 vs 3-9x40

Are the 32mm similar in quality as my my hawke 40mm or are they more like my thick reticle bug buster? I wondered if there's a difference between the ones at pyramyd versus pricier ones called airmax. 

this one will see duty on a rimmie and a pcp's. Should I just spring for another clearidge? 

plinking and informal targets to 50 or 60 yards.

Cool, ordered one with the help of some bullseye points. IR reticle is a bit gimmicky but good on black shootNC targets. Will try on the S510 and move the Clearidge ultra to the rem 597 Volquartsen
