Was organizing all my airgun stuff this afternoon and came across my little bottle of Beeman chamber lube. Instructions are to put 2 drops in the chamber of a springer every 1000 shot or so. Special oil that won't explode when compressed. And yes, I understand the effects of petroleum products and compressed air. That got me to wondering why there has never been any talk of putting a synthetic lube through a PCP. Seems it would make sense to protect the reg and other internal parts from corrosion should some moisture get by all the high dollar over priced filters and air dryers we use. Wouldn't think it would take much to mist the whole internal system. Maybe a drop in your fill probe before filling. Thing is, I've never read anything about this concept. Wondering what others thoughts are about this.
