Amazing shooting. I have been sending links to my brother of your videos to show how far air rifles and now slug use is coming. He got me into air rifles about 50 plus years ago when we were kids. Needless to say he is impressed with your rifle and skills. Bill

Congrats, Bob! We all knew it would happen. Now you can chase 250. 
The 40gr slug at 863fps drops 1" for every yard at this distance.
I have some 34gr on the way and should be able to push those at 940fps for a flatter trajectory.
The margin for error is very small past 200 but 250 is doable. I can't say that I'll push for that anytime soon though.

dang what do you zero your scope in at? you seem to be holding dead on him except for wind dope.

Yes, I dial elevation for all my shots. My scope has 80moa of elevation (40 up/down). With standard scope rings, that's not enough adjustment for shots like these.
So I use FX NoLimits mounts. This is how I set it up.
1. I find the center of the elevation adjustment and then dial the turret down two full turns (now I have 60moa to dial Up).
2. I set the turret stop so it bottoms out.
3. I use the NoLimits rings to adjust elevation for zero at 25yds.
That's it.
That's enough adjustment for 250yds without hitting the physical limit of the scope.
