The photo shows what happens when you hit a squirrel dead on the top of the head with a Gamo Red Fire, 7.8 grain pellet! Apparently, squirrels have hard heads, because the pellet only penetrated about 1/8 inch, resulting in a 3/8 of an inch hole, while completely flattening the pellet. The distance was about 25 yards, with 5 pumps behind it (≈650 FPS), out of my Benjamin 397.
I'm sold, as they work just like the ads say.
