I'm going to get the FX Wildcat MKll in a couple of months. Who would you buy the FX from? There are several choices but I want to get good after purchase service.

When it comes to FX, I think you'll find that the common response for service has become 'you'll need to talk to FXUSA'. I don't see that as a bad thing at all, At least not with Ernest at the head of the service dept...

I would recommend Air Guns Of Az, I like the testing they do, takes a day or two longer, I've have a Streamline laminate .22 there now waiting for test and shipping, my third gun from them. I have two Wildcats, .22, and .25, can't say enough good things about them, I particularly enjoy shooting the .22, you will love the Wildcat! Service is through FX USA in N.C. no problems with any of my three FX's so far!

Utah Airguns will tune it for free, and right now they offer free shipping on the Wildcats.

AOA has an awesome service call center. But Utah is great too. Don't think you could go wrong with either.

Utah airguns are fine to deal with.
But if you buy a gun and a week later you decide that it's not what you want they won't let you trade it back in. I know from experience.

Not many things in life work like that, I consider it more a special treat if/when that happens. I certainly wouldn't expect it.

I like Utah. A massive amount of their sales are from FX guns(like 90%) so they will know all about your mk 2 and they sell lots of custom paint jobs that will just make your mk 2 that much more special. I have heard they will tune the gun at their range too which is just amazing(at least before they did)! Their website design is also by far my favorite and despite the huge+growing demand for airguns, they somehow still sound polite and interested during a phone call. Trust me not all airgun businesses pick up the phone with enthusiasm. I'm not going to list which ones I like and dont like but it's good to take note of this attribute during your purchases.

I'm thinking about getting a warcat .. but I'm a left handed shooter. Can you do me a favor? Put it on your left shoulder and let me know if the magazine is totally in your way, and makes it impossible to shoot, or whether it's there, but shooting it would be doable.

Depends on where you live. I’m on the east coast and have bought 2 FX rifles from Precision Airguns in Michigan. Great people to deal with. And if I ever do have a problem, it won’t cost me an arm and a leg shipping it back across the country.
