FX Wildcat .25 pellet

Hi Guys, I just ordered a FX Wildcat.25 & I asked for some H&N barracudas to go with it, I was told that due to the length of the pellets the Mag has trouble rotating, Is this true? are there any other pellets that interfere with the mag rotating, I also would like to try the H&N extremes! thanks in advance for your help.
P.S The rifle is still being sent to me so I have not shot it yet.

It is true due to the longer pointed dome on those. But the Hunter Extreme pellets dit just fine. Polymags are also too long.

One of most popular pellets the JSB MKI's and II's 34.9gr need to be seated just below the edge of the magazine. Sometimes I don't do it and the edge of skirt will get caught during rotation then it's hell to get the mag out sometimes. Just push it into the mag with your finger nail and you should be ok.

My wildcat loves the jsb 25 grain and the Benjamin pellets. They both cycle fine in the mag.

I've tried 5 or 6 different pellets in my WC 25. Nothing compares to the JSB. I shoot the 25 gr at about 900 fps and it is super accurate.

My Pigeon Cat prefers the Air Arms 25gr over the JSB 25gr flying 890fps. I never tried the H&Ns since the AA shoot so well.

I shoot JSB's in everything. Quality airguns will shoot about anything reasonably well.

The .25 cal. smooth twist barrels are designed to shoot JSB 25.4 grain pellets and do so very well...they also shoot the 34 grain MKII pellets very well. Everything else is going to be less accurate than the JSB's but don't let that stop you from proving it to yourself. And by the way the 34 grain MKII's shoot great at 900 ft/s also...they are actually much more accurate than the 25.4 grainers in most conditions. Congratulations on your decision to buy what I consider to be one of the top airguns on the planet!

Thanks Guys I appreciate the feedback I have 3 tins of the JSB 25grain pellets coming with the rifle & look forward to giving the heavier pellets a try over longer distance. I also have a .22 Royale which loves both the JSB Heavies & the H&N Barras & Extremes.

My Wildcat loves JSB all, H&N Barracuda Hunter, Hunter Extreme, and the Benjamin's...
The last a waste of your $$$ as they are as expensive as the others. Benjamin's require a close inspection. Burr removal by hand in most tins is required. Groups inside your thumbnail at 35yrds...
That group shown previous is the norm for me using the fist three Pellets listed shot at 35yrds with no wind...
The Baracuda's themselves were to long in some cases and would jam my Mag.. The ones that did not shot excellent.. Go figure on that one..

I will try some JSB 33gr in my WC 25 this weekend. The 25gr has been doing great!

The Hunter Extreme has also been doing great up to 50 yards.....I have not tried them further out.
