Ok let's go back to last year I was trying to adjust the hammer spring to get the 34gr.JSB's to shoot in the 850 fps. rang but 820 was all I could get without adjusting theregulator. The hammer spring was maxed out and I didn't like that and just left it alonetill the other day. Adjusting regulators is above my pay grade so I went back to about849 fps on 25.39gr. I put some blue lock tight on the adjusting screw and call it quits. Today decided to see how many shots per fill I was getting. I fill to 230 bar and shootdown to 140 bar. What happened next blew my mind. 55 shots on power 1 and 80shots on 2 I thought this can't be right I must have lost track on power 2 so I tried itagain. Sure enough 80 shots just under 140 bar but this time I kept going cuz I did nothear any ping to indicate I was off the regulator it kept going and going and going down to 120 bar and 110 shots before I heard the ping! This last string I ran over the chrony just to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind. I wrote down the first 10 and the last 30 and this is what I got.642.3646.4650.6648.0647.7649.9647.9649.8647.5645.2 647.7 shot 81651.1645.4647.8651.4647.6643.7646650.2643.2646.1648.3653.3645.0646.1643.6645.7650.8646.1647.7646.1646.0647.0644.6643.4645.5645.7643.8- ping645.1645.7 shot 110 I think I found a sweet spot between the hammer spring, transfer port,valve, regulator pressure and tube pressure. Crazy shot count for .25 cal.All this made me wonder if I was still shooting 849 fps on high power?Nope.But It wasn't as bad as I thought 839-845 fps. I wonder if the reg. is just now breaking in.
