Has anyone tried using the FX smooth twist liners in other rifles? How well did it work? What did you do to make it fit your rifle?

Put one in my pistol it shoots a bit over half inch groups at 50 yards. I had to make an adapter and put o-rings inside to seal it. Similar to this one. Transfer port on bottom.

I have a 600 mm smooth twist X liner system with a .25 liner that is going into a high power Marauder one of these days! 
With the new release of the FX Accurate Liners I suspect that there will be MANY dispossessed liners entering the market soon!

Derrick @zx10wall has a .25 700mm STX (not sure if pellet or slug liner) in his power tuned Taipan Veteran, and its a very accurate gun at 100 yards...

Yes, we machined a collet system well over a year ago long before FX brought something almost identical out, simply to try shooting slugs in the HP Redwolf VS the LW barrels for testing. We also fitted LW barrels to the Crown, some others on here have done it as well, it's not that difficult.

I do. Did. I bought a 500mm .22 STX liner to try to carbon sleeve it and have it machined to slip into my Marauder FT Lothar to compare. I believe the lead is in the barrel housing that the FX liner slides into. Not the liner. This is where I got stuck. Bonding on a sleeve and just turning down the o.d. on both ends and drilling a transfer port isn't too hard but I didn't know what to do about calculating and cutting the lead.

Yes and very happy with it. A couple of times I have swapped back to try a different slug in the original barrel. The liner is undoubtedly more accurate with the redesigned monsters and every slug I’ve tried.

I just adapted my old 500mm 0,22 smooth Twist x liner to my SPA M10 ….Have to check next time how it works ...
