There is virtually no comparison between the two, aside from a very basic design similarity. The Cyclone action is based on the very first platform FX came out with, and is kin the the Tarantula, and Tarantula style actions (FX2000, SuperSwift,Cutlass Cyclone TimberWolf, etc...). The new Streamline has got to be based largely on the Royale platform (although I have not seen it out of the stock). Everything is different between the two In the better than a decade development between the two style actions, there has been lots of advances in design ad function. Strikers have gotten smaller, valves more efficient, springs lighter, etc. The Cyclone is a very well behaved action, fr it's age. The Streamline I am sure will offer a more modern efficiency in operation. FX has a new trigger now vs the older cyclone style , as well... etc. Hope this helps!
