fx crown .25 slugs

Thanks ydunn!

yes im currently shooting vk 32.8s at 915fps reg at 158, hammer just shy of maxed.

i also really liked the 36 nsa hollowpoints. Super accurate. Not quite as damaging on impact though. I was shooting those at 850

I also tried the new nsa in 33 grain I believe it was. One ragged mark on the steel at 130 yards. Very impressive. I didnt chrono them but i was shooting on my current tune so i assume its about 910

overall i find the slugs in the right weight zone for this gun (32-36grain) super forgiving on speed. They just shoot. Outside of this weight zone i have found them either fussy or downright not accurate no matter the tune.

good luck and let us know your results!

best

Hmmm ive tryed today 175bar can only get just 900fps with 34gr any ideas why

You may not have enough hammer weight for the reg pressure at 175 bar

try to set the reg at 160-165 bar to see if you get a speed increase or not

as mentioned above by pcparmy the reg pressure is at 158 and the hammer

is maxed out.

Make sure the hammer is maxed out turn that thing until the power wheel does

not move and then back it off just a little bit.

ive been told to start at 140 bar and max hammer out with adjuster screw then keep shooting until and increaase reg only until i get the correct fps i want well just over then back hammer off slightly is this correct because ive found that if i increase hammer screw the fps goes up but then gets to a max then as i keep increasing it starts goin back down so if i max it will this give me alot less

Hi all up to now I have my fx crown shooting 33.5gr slugs at 900fps maxed out with a hammer weight and extra high reg my last call is ive heard people porting the barrel bigger is this something that works or will it just make it shoot worse thanks ste

My 22 is shooting 30gr at 988 fps. 7gm hammer weight 155 bar.

Turned down the 90 degree turn into the barrel to make smoother transition and bellmouth Ed the port to match the 30 caliber opening on the wheel

I did open my valve seat .25mm (5.8mm now) but couldn't tell it had an effect?
