FX barrel interchangeability

So the barrels themselves will not interchange? In other words, would I be able to swap the smoothtwist barrel on a Royale with the whole barrel (liner and all) from a Crown?
If not I don't understand the difference. Do they have different ways of indexing? are they different diameters entering the breach block etc.?

There is a thread on here I believe in the PCP forum on putting a Twist X barrel on a Royale. It is possible.

I am so glad manufacturers are starting to make rifles with caliber swap options. I have an older rifle that can change barrels in a literal 20 seconds. What I like about it the most, is it allows me to use different brands of barrels as well. It's currently sporting a .20 Career barrel from1997. Crosman Preimer pellets at 980 fps sooo accurately at that high speed.

I really wish I waited for the wildcat mkII instead of the mk1. I wanted those new barrels. Those X barrels are nutty. I hope you find what you're looking for!
