flash not takeing air

I just got a flash in .22 and had shot the first 4 mags out of it when I noticed I needed air. I put the probe in and it took 10 pumps to go to 200 bar on the pump gauge, but not on the guns gauge, it was at 90 bar where it was when I noticed I needed air. I removed the probe and gave it a few pumps and it was not blocked. I thought I had seen some where that you have to shock it with a burst of air from a tank or compresser to unstick the fill valve due to it sticking the first time on some of these guns. am I correct it that or is there something else going on?

Either gun gauge isnt reading right, can shoot to verify, or the check valve isn't opening. IMO.



If your rifle didnt see below 90 bar pressure then its not what you mentioned with hpa tank pressure blast.

I dry fired it about 4 times while watching the gauge on the gun and it dropped down to 50 bar and tried pumping it up again and still the same 10 pumps and pump gauge to 200 bar gun pressure not going up, when I received it, it had a 200 bar fill of air from PA.

Is it one of those guns that need to be cocked to take air? Just a guess

according to the instructions, cocking then locking the bolt in the rear notch is the way to fill it.

Don’t dry fire any lower you may damage the pop valve, The tank fill is very similar to the at44, your going have to remove the tank release the pressure Hatsan may have included a tool to release the tank pressure and new o ring . And clean the fill valve and oring.

thanks guys for your help with this! with the rifle being less then 3 weeks old and a fixed air tube i will be makeing a call to PA and sending it back for repair. thanks again for your help! don
