Welp...another new one (new to me), added to the Harem...just beginning to put it through it's paces....So far....Finally, something that shoots the FX brand of pellets well, and it is NOT a powerhouse (around 60-61-FPE)....will do some tuning, and some modifications soon...

More into accuracy than power here just to shoot birds from 50-100 yards should be More than enough power. Can't imagine what a 30 cal 60fpe will do to a bird. I feed them to the cats.

Ahhh...Gotcha....I know accuracy is paramount, but I STILL lean towards the POWA..(Yeah...I'm a Power Ho)....There are some that will say power is nothing without accuracy though.... I always retort....define accurate? Hole in hole at 50 yards? yep....accurate.....all holes touching around a 1 or 2 inch square at 50 yards, with big ass .30 cal pellets? yep....also accurate.....it comes down to the degree of such....

FWIW, photos of groups lacking disclosure of the range(s) carry little meaning. Assuming 50 yards, 1" groups aren't too bad.

Pedro, it still operate s fine....I don't shoot it much ...there are simply a lot more interesting guns that I shoot consistently.

Here's mine in .25 cal, the revised new edition. 

 Purchased 3 weeks ago.

My experience has not been too satisfactory, some problems, maybe too many for a $1,600 adult "toy". Problems with the airgun and the dealer, both, but I'll delve into that later when I've sorted out this "fiendish" creature. I have faith that eventually it'll turn out to be a reliable airgun, something it is not out of the box, ...................someday, maybe!

Accuracy:

 13 magazines at 25yds from the bench with a slightly reworked trigger. Came with a horrible trigger pull when new that maxed out my Wheeler gauge at 8lbs and had to keep on pulling for the 2nd stage to break. BTW, dealer stated this was normal for a hunting rifle, WHAT? Did a bit troubleshooting and have managed to lower the trigger to a barely manageable 8lbs, but still too high. Want it at 4-5lbs. I find accuracy acceptable, and should improve more so with use, a lightened trigger and a bit of more "magic". 

As the accuracy question was brought up, wanted to address that issue here, but the Evanix Cloud saga will continue.....................................

Wow!!! There is one gun to put on my "never purchase" list. Those groups are barely acceptable if they were at 50 yds. For that kind of money I expect a LOT more! Hope it sorts itself out for you.

You can be sure it's never going to sort itself out, not on its own, but thanks anyway. It'll need quite a bit of outside work, but we'll get there, eventually. Did I mention accuracy was acceptable, barely for a hunting rifle. For the money paid, I definitely did expect better, much better, performance. Stay tuned...........................

Wow!!!! Sorry to hear about those issues having with your air cloud, really bums me out to read this.

Have to say that this is not what I want or expect from a $1600 air rifle. I agree 8lbs for a trigger is awful and those groups at 25 yrds, are not acceptable to me.
May I ask where you purchased it from? Also, curious what ammo you’re shooting? 


I have an airspeed 22cal and it’s pretty sweet. Not that it’s a lot to brag about however, I put two mags through a hole the size of a dime at just under 25 yards on the chicken target challenge. No fliers, wasn’t trying too hard, just plink plink plink. I’ve been looking at the air cloud, and seriously considering getting one (same color and caliber). However, after seeing this post…..

Curious who else has them and how the others are doing. Was very interested in getting one of these…. But damn, that sucks.

Stay away from this sucker and the worst dealer on the planet, New England Airguns! 

Now this damned contraption jams every 4-5 mags and have to tear it apart everytime to clear. The problem lies in the trigger mechanism, shoddy workmanship, what can I say.
