Edgun R3M .25. Need Advice

It’s probably the reg creeping up in pressure. If you let it sit for a while, or r overnight, does it shoot slow the first couple of shots and then go to normal? If so there is a very good chance that is the issue. To fix that you can resurface the seat of the regulator (and replace all the orings while you’re in there) or buy a new reg like a Huma and install it. I think Ernest has some videos on the Edguns as far as disassembly and reassembly. The east way to go is to buy the Huma, and set it up approx 125 to 130 bar, and you’ll be good to go. Shouldn’t take more than an hour even if you’ve never done it before. If you don’t have the special tool to degas the gun you can just slowly unscrew the pressure gage and bleed off pressure that way. Let us know how it goes?

sure you can spend several hundred on Huma or 10 cents for 2 o-rings your choice Do not unscrew the pressure gauge to degas the gun, this is dangerous, it is not how Ed designed the gun to be degassed. I have tools to degas the gun or you can press the valve with a large screwdriver on the shaft of the driver.

the regulator is slightly different but the process is the same, 5 1.5 and 8 X1.5 for the piston
