I wonder why we don't see many using these for looong range bench shooting or varminting? I believe they use the same guts as the Matador so maybe the Huma power kit would work in these as well? If so it would make on heck of a "sniper" airgun (judging by the R3M's performance) for those who like to shoot well past 100 yards. Somebody buy one and slap a power kit in it, let us know how she does

I don't think it is being imported any more and may not even be in production any more. Brian of Edgun West would know for sure.

Also I think a Morana "carbine" would be a sweet gun in .177 and .22. Shorten it up to around 36"...

There are some in stock on EDgunUSA's website. I'm not sure Edgun west ever sold them at least I have never seen them on his site...

I never imported them because the rail has POI issues that are not easliy fixed. This is also the reason Ed is not making them anymore. I am trying to talk Ed into making the Makosh, which is a folding stock rifle only in prototype at the moment.

Thanks Brian I hadn't heard of the rail issues. Haven't heard any info on the morana to be honest. Makosh sounds very interesting.

The "more popular" models have taken schedual priority but I too hope the Makosh hits production. 
The Makosh looks to be more on the playing field with the Kalibrgun Carbine, Vulcan Tactic carbine and Ataman M2 carbine.
The newer Morana never really interested me as it got big and bulky.. I liked it back in its R2 days when it was a sexy light carbine and it matched the Matadors lines.

I didn't even know this existed lol. I thought the "current" Morana was the only one. Very cool.

One of the features I like most on my R3M is the cut outs in the stock. They make it very easy to get a good grip on the gun when picking it up by the forearm without having to worry if it will slip out of your hand. I wish the new R5 had these (like the R3 and R4 stocks).
