Hi guys. A freind of a freind is selling 1 of these, it has a huma reg in it. He has never run the heavys through it. Do they shoot them well. If so wat speeds Do you guys shoot. All info would be great thanx.

I actually have a tough time with them no matter how I seat them without a rough "blowback" of air-I have tried heavies and Mk 2's -sprayed pledge on on them. the works --all no bueno. I have eben bought new mags as well thinking it may be the problem. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Had a R5 Long in .25 that I sold, and now another one (long story); both shoot the Mk 2 heavies better than anything else I tried (two sizes of NSA slugs, FX Hybrids, JSA 25.39, H&N 30.86).
Speed with the Mk 2 - 885 average.
Bear in mind both of those rifles were the bolt action single shot version, not sure how magazine fit might affect things.

Check to see if the barrel is in backwards. 13mm thread count on breech , 11.5 on the muzzle. Or look for the crown and choke
