Does anyone have a good idea for a range card?

I have been trying to figure out a good way to mount a range card because my condor ss is very hard to shoot at closer distances and I need the card to know where to hold over. I wanted to mount it to the bottle like the pic but i bought a bottle cover cheek rest and also the pellet holder attaches to the bottle leaving no room. I was going to make a small copy and tape it to range finder but my eyesight stinks up close and it is blurry. The only thing I might try is something I saw my daughters softball pitcher use. It is a small pad that straps to your forearm so when the catcher gives a pitch signal she knows what it is. Figured that might work. Any ideas would be great.

This will be mostly for hunting scenarios.

i seen matt dubber with his ..in the vid hes got computer printed cards like3by6 but he laminates them and puts in his pocket he had one for each gun i would make a rawhide sorta necklace and put around my neck

Guys also put a small range card inside their flip up scope covers,think some flip up covers come with a small card you can put basic data on like this.

I have bad eyes so it might be hard to see but then again it probably depends how much data you cram into it.

These little PNG files can be created by Chairgun. You can size them to whatever fits your scope cap inside diameter. You can pick from a large number of reticles. A bit of tape and job done. If you are actually using a Hawke scope the reticle design for your scope can be selected. Anyway these are the intercepts for my D460 zeroed at 24 yards. HTH.

I was going to say the same thing. 

I use blue painters tape and draw mine out by hand. I'm always back and forth with scopes so, it's a quick easy system that leaves no trace behind.

Have you thought about making a scope tape? Chair gun has a tool to make it, then just tape it onto your turret.

My problem with the wheel and the scope cover ideas is I can't see well close up anymore. Very blurry, especially that small writng. My long distance is ok so i need something I can make bigger fonts on. I just downloaded the hawke airgun chair gun. Im lost and don't really understand what I'm looking at. I wish i did. I may just make the cards and laminate them like someone said and velcro it to my forearm. Is there a chair gun tutorial anywhere???

I ordered the quarterback wrist play card holder. This way I can make up several cards for different pellets. It will go on my left inside forearm. I will use big fonts and is actually a good position for quick glances to verify placement of cross hairs. $7.99 Worth a try anyway.

Inside the scope cap of the Ocular lens or on the outside of the Objective lens.
Tape to the offside(opposite) of the stock.

You could get yourself a pair of cheaters for the up close stuff. Or perhaps a hunting monocle?

make a copy of the cross hairs with dots, add range dope, cut to fit flip up scope cover. You could make different cards for different weight pellets or settings. Keep a dope book like powderburners do and keep cards there. easy to see pellet dope without losing weld.

I feel your pain, can't see up close either. My talon is sighted in at 25 yds. My scope close focus is 10 yds. I know at 10 yds it is 2 mil dots, 15 to 20 yds is 1 mil dot. I just remember. Unless you want to cary a pair of cheaters all the time. If i mounted a card on the bottle or my forearm i still couldn't read it. Good luck

Chief ricci. I was thinking of sighting it in at 25 yards too but everyone has been telling me thats too close. I might try that and see if i have any mil dots left at 100 yards. I may need a scope stronger than 12 power.

I think you should sight in your weapon at the distance you mostly shoot. For myself 25 yards is good, thats the distance from my window to were i see most of the chipmunks in my yard. I also understand how to use mil dots for longer distances. For my talon ss 25 yards +/- 5 yards the aim point is the same.
