Damaged JSB tin

Just opened a new tin of JSB Exact Jumbo's and found several damaged pellets. Then I noticed damage to the side of the tin. The cover was undamaged and hid the damage to the lower half of the tin from view. This must have happened on the assembly line if that's how it's done. Strange, never have seen this before.

Was it packaged well?

It looks similar to several I have received from Amazon with no love in packaging.

Got them from PA so yes, they were packaged as well as is possible. The tin cover was undamaged so this had to occur before the lid was placed at the factory. The lid almost completely covers the damaged area.
