Hi guys,
I wanted to share with you pics of the completed custom FX Ranchero with BSA barrel, extended airtube, and now REGULATED! I originally built this gun up with just the addition of a longer BSA barrel and extension for the air cylinder. Although it was a fine shooter then, it is now however more consistent due to the addition of a HUMA brand regulator. The reg is set at 120 bar. Shooting 16 grain JSB @ 650 fps or 15 ft/lb of power. This gets me about 20 shots at 3000 psi fill. I find this gun more attractive than the original shorter carbine, very light and compact. The gun is zeroed @ 50 yards. I try and keep this my max range for taking game with this setup. However I was hitting hazelnuts at 75 yards consistently with it. Ive mounted a hawke scope on it. Easily one of my most fun guns to pack around. Hope you guys like it. One of the pictures below are fuzzy but I tried to show the regulator venting hole I drilled into the cylinder. Hope you guys like it.
