I agree, they also need slings....too heavy just to carry around...got another topic discussion abt GROVTEC barrel band mounts...waiting on info from members
People who have read my posts here in the past know what a fan I am of mine. Over the past several yesrs it has served me very well indeed. In fact it is one of the main reasons I am into airguns today! Sadly she has been retired lately, as I have fallen under the spell of another mistress.... my new TX.
I am also a big fan of the crosman break barrel nitro piston guns. I prefer the 177 as well. They shoot.flat, have enough to take birds out to 50 yards or more. Mine was pretty much a one hole gun, it needs a rebuild. I agree, they need a sling. I make my own with I hooks and 550 cord using cobra knots.
Agreed, my F4 is also quite accurate and a flat shooter (for my needs anyway). I've heard many stories now from some people that have gotten a bad one out of the box, but I've had good luck with mine.
i made this scope phone mount from a YouTube video, it's ok but a lil awkward to use...all parts from lowes...except phone belt clip case...1 1/2 to 1 1/4" rubber connecter w pvc 1 1/4" flat cap n hoseclamps....
