Nice, way to go, nice shot, now just get 10 more for Good measures.hahaha..what are you going to do with it? Do you skin em and make hats or what? A nice yote hat can get 200-300 bucks if done nice. I need to get some Archery deer hunting in first then I’m all ready to switch over to yote Hunting with and my Texan and Royale.
Thanks for the article imold. The only thing missing from the article is about the fleshing part. I bought a dvd about skinning and preparing predators. Very cool and informative. I dont want to sell my coyote skins (if i ever get one) so i will have to flesh it myself and that part makes me nervous about ruining it. My plan would be for a cape on the wall with a european skull mount under it. Hopefully this will be my lucky and learning season. What do you do?
Hey Yote. In the videos I have seen they all flesh out the coyotes. They turn them inside out on a piece of wood and sort of scrape the flesh off with a two handled fleshing beam/knife. The guy doing it says it is very important. I have never got one so I just want to be sure not to waste it.
