I started working on intercooler for my Yong Heng air pump today. This coil is on the 2nd stage discharge. The rag is a temporary resonator dampener for the coils. They were doing some dancing. I was planning to incase the coils to have water cooling. I had a fan blowing on compressor it seems to be doing the job. It’s doing better than planned. Right now the compressure gage is reading about 700 psi high compared to the carbon tank gage.

you dont need to use that little pump with gummi hoses. just connect it to the garden tap/hose on the inlet side with a restrictor and the waste can go to the garden.
increased cooling effect immediately and you dont mess with ice which is a plus. control the flow with the tap.
