Centerpoint TAG

I know it's not the best but it's what came on my Marauder package. Can someone direct me to a link or provide advice on how to understand the TAG reticles? I assume the aiming point is the top of the arrow but that's the extent of it. I've looked online but couldn't find any information near as good as some of the mil-dot lessons.

Top of the arrow is correct. The TAG reticle is used like a BDC. It provides you with elevation points in relation to your load.

Looks like it's probably going to be close to the Burris Ballistic Plex subtensions. They also advertise that reticle as the same yardage as the CPT with a 200-yd. zero using magnum cartridges and going out to 600 (same as the CPT). Meaning the subtensions (reticle measurements) are going to be very close...probably...at optic's highest power. You're probably going to have to measure the subtensions yourself to get precise, though Crosman Tech. Support may know them. But the Burris is 1.4, 4.3, 7.1, and 10.5 MOA down. At least windage stadia points repeat at whatever they measure. Just match to your ballistics program and fine tune from there.
