Can someone walk me through doing scope tape on ChairGun...

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone can dumb it down enough for me to understand how to do it, as I literally cannot figure out why the scope tape I’ve made is off. I’ve measured my BC several times using my .25 FX Dreamline, and I got 0.0354 consistently every time I did it, I have the drag law set to GA, I have put in my altitude, humidity, temp, etc. and I measured my scope height, and got 1.96 inches with medium rings, and measured my velocity which is 900fps with an SD of 8, and I don’t understand why the darn tape won’t line up with what I’ve got. I did try to also measure BC using POI, but it repeatedly gave me errors, and I’m sure that’s because it’s been discontinued by Hawke for 2 years. If anyone can help me out, I’d be very grateful.

Is it just the scope tape that isn’t working? Do the actual ballistic tables that you get from ChairGun work out fine? If it is just the scope tape that is off be sure that you have the correct turret diameter entered.

The tables and scope tape are off, but I’ve re measured everything several times to make sure I’ve gotten accurate info put in, but it’s still off by a fair bit at 50yds.

If you are inputting 0.354 as your BC, that is the problem. Try 0.0354 and try again.

Sorry definitely meant 0.0354. I did re-measure the BC of the JSB kings and got 0.0301. I think my chrony might be off, as they should be something like 0.038...
