BSA R10 MKII .22 bigger bottle?

Hello, I'm getting one of my old BSA rifles back to shoot. I have done some searching but coming up with mixed feelings. Can you replace the 200cc bottle with something bigger to get more shots? If so, where and what kind of bottle do I get? Do I need anything else to go with bottle- spacer? Any info. would be appreciated. Thx, John

I have put 280cc and 360cc bottles on these guns before. Should be as long as you have the right bottle valve to fit your gun.

Contact Air Tanks For Sale. Joe will set you up with a bottle and valve. My R10 .177 and a buddies R10 .177 went from 48 shots to 90 shots. My R10 shoots at 940fps with 10gr JSB pellets. It was at 950fps, I backed it off a few fps.

remove the shroud and you probably can run a 480 cc bottle, just run a silencer , ive done this to my super 10 mk 2, Donny fl should carry the correct adapter for a silencer, mine is a huggett

I belive bsa and rapid both share same valve, check out best fittings UK. valve shows to be the same for bsa and rapid.... so raw has a bottle with valve for 99 bucks, its 280 cc

You can run the 280cc, 360cc (if you can find one), 480cc and even the 500cc tank. More than likely you will have to modify the stock to get a correct fit. As mentioned the Theoben style valves are the same as the BSA valves.

Ive done my fair share of these, and I have always had to remove some material from the bottle end of the stock on the lip.
