I was going to buy a Buccaneer for my boy but changed my mind and go a scorpion instead.
I think they are very close to the same except for the Gamo trigger unit in the Buccaneer.
So apart from that I can tell you about the scorpion.
It is a nice rifle, nice blueing and wood (it does come in synthetic too)
We aren't allowed to use moderators in Oz so it just has the standard muzzle flip on the threaded end.
It is a pretty loud air rifle. If shooting for prolong periods I would wear foam plugs.
It has the BSA quality barrel and is very accurate.
Trigger is good.
Seems to shoot well down to 130 bar from 230 bar with a lot of shots in between.
Shoulders well and points easily. (I'm 6'1 and fairly lanky)
The poms seem to like them!
