Yeah, just because it says BSA, Bushnell, Hawke, Leupold, Swarovski, or any other legitimate scope company on the optic or box, doesn't mean that it's kosha. They even make knockoffs of some of the better Chinese brands. They can counterfeit anything they like or copy patented designs with complete immunity from litigation in their untouchable bubble. Some of the products appear to be exactly the same in appearance whilst some are just generic cheap unbranded models with respected company logos stencilled on them. It doesn't take a trained nose to smell if something's fishy. Its got nothing to do with AliExpress. eBay and Amazon work almost the same way. They don't sell the stuff, they just organise the buyers and sellers and skim a small fee for each transaction. You have a right to open a dispute if you don't receive an item that is advertised but if the product is the same as the picture in the ad, you don't have much hope in getting a refund unless you pay for the return shipping that can be more than what you paid for your item. Buyer beware and do a little homework if you want hassle-free commerce with these global behemoths.
