Best Bench rest 25 yards Scope

I'm new to this and am looking for the best scope for 25 yards bench rest.
This topic could have been placed in the optics section, however, there are a lot of knowledgeable bench rest shooters in this section.
I'd like to know what the leading competitors are using. Im interested in brand, zoom or fixed, and magnification.
The rifle will be used exclusively for bench rest.
Your suggestions are appreciated.

I see many shooters using the Weaver T-36 or a similar 36 power Leupold fixed power target scope. I plan to purchase a Weaver T-36 with the dot reticle.

Yes, the Weaver T-36 is popular as well as the Leupold equivalent. Some folks are using March scopes if you have 3 large. I use a Mueller 8-32X44 target dot scope. I've looked through the others and frankly, don't see much difference. These cost less than $250. If you want to spend your money, you may want to look at a Sightron III 10-50X60 for about a grand. You still have to hit the target.
