These are the best ( my opinion) scopes from 100 dollars and up in hundred dollar incriminate s. I have owned a ton of scopes and these are the ones I would personally recommend.
(1) For 100$ price range to me it's the Bushnell AR 2-7 with the mildot . Nice clean glass and focuses and tracks well
(2) 200$ range it's the Nikon 3-9 efr without a doubt. Cheap turret covers but besides that there is nothing to complain about . For the price , best glass under 200$
(3) 300$ it's the SWFA 10 or 12X SS series scopes . Tracking is flawless , cool cross hairs to choose from , and built like a tank . For 300$ it simply can't be beat .
(4) for 400 bucks to me and many others it the Leupold 3-9 efr / Leupold VX2 4-12 . Both are excellent glass and worth every penny . The 4-12 focuses down to 25 yards marked on turret but most go to below 20y.
(5) For 500$ the choices get a little trickier , lot of nice scopes in the price range . But for me personally I'd say the Leupold FX3 in either 8 or 12 power . You can order direct from the custom shop and get the AO set as low as 20 yards and it's only a 25$ charge ,plus the custom shop shipped for free . If you look thru one you will know why I rank it here .....
Well thats it . I am sure someone will point out that I dont have any " Airgun" brands of scopes listed . While this next statement may ruffle some feathers its is something I truly believe in ...Airgun Scopes as a group are WAY overpriced for what you get . They target a small group and emphasis is on tricky cross hairs , illuminated reticle , Side focus , and 10yard AO and very little is put on build quality and good lenses .
The best money spent on optics is in good glass and solid internals . All the bells and whistles in the world wont cover up bad glass . Like I said just my opinion. Jump on in an let's hear yours
