Benjamin Marauder Serial Number

I took the advice from this forum and preordered the Marauder .22 with the Lothar Walther barrel instead of the in stock version with the Crosman barrel and settled in for a long wait. A rep at Crosman told me it would probably be at least until the end of November but to my surprise the store where I preordered it got a couple in and I received mine last week! Right out of the box I am glad I waited. This rifle is very accurate and I'm in the process of testing my supply of pellets (I have around 27 different types to go through) over the long winter in my basement 10 meter range I have set up. 

I'm trying to register the rifle and the Benjamin Traveler compressor I bought with it but the Crosman site wants serial numbers for any product registered. The compressor has no serial number anywhere I can find (on product or box). The Marauder has the sticker on the box with the model number but no serial number. The only number I can find on the rifle is on the right side of the receiver. Is that the serial number or is that the serial number for the barrel upgrade?

There will be a serial number somewhere on the gun and compressor. Call Crosman Toll free: 800-7AIRGUN (724-7486). They will tell you where to look on each item.

Crosman stopped stamping air tubes at least 4 years ago. All serial numbers are now stamped on the “Marauder” side of the breech forward of the magazine slot. IDK what the Custom Shop does, they offer laser etching for that real estate.

I have 2 LW Field and Target Marauders purchased less than 4 years ago but haven't paid any attention to recent serial numbers. They aren't at this place for me at present to check both of them though where I am currently stuck at for the last couple of months.

Duh! It's tough getting old! I don't know how I missed that, and I even looked at that sticker but didn't notice the serial number. Thanks.

vdwb...I called Crosman and the rep confirmed what you said. The number is the one I saw on the breech on the side that says Marauder. Mine starts with the letter "O" then 8 numbers and ends with the letter "L". The rep told me the "L" confirms that the barrel is a Lothar Walther barrel. Thanks for the help.

I can't find the serial number on my brand new PRod. BP2220. I see this thread is 2 years old but maybe someone knows where it is. Thanks
