"Skip-in-WV"Here are some unorganized ramblings. If it is a Gen 2 it has a Green Mountain barrel. They are good barrels. Mine for example, will do 1/2 inch groups at 30 yards. If I do my part. I have a mid-range scope on it. It prefers the JSB 25.4 grain pellets. With a 3000 lb charge I get 19 good shots. You didn't mention the brand of scope you have. Over the winter you can save your pennies and then get a better scope to be determined by what type of shooting you want to do with it. Cleaning every 300 to 500 shots seems too often. You dontneed to clean it until, and if, the accuracy goes off. You can practice standing shots at 10 yards. I want to try the Air Arms 25.4 pellets since they work better then the JSBs in my Panther. Above all, shoot it.
yea it is a gen 2. the scope is called a center point 4-16. it seems to be not very good, the aim lines are not even square to each other. 90 degrees to another if you know what I mean. I did line up the vertical line strait up and down, and the horizonal one is cock-eyed. I figured the vertical one being lined looked better. like I said the scope looks to be very cheaply made. randy.
