Will Ballistol damage o-rings in a pcp air rifle?

From what I read on my can of ballistol it says it safe on metal plastic rubber and wood. You will be ok with useing it to clean your air guns. If you are going to put it or them up for a while, run a wet patch in the barrell and wipe the rest of the gun down with a wet patch. It repells water and moisture hope this helps. Dave

I know. I've been using Ballistol on all my firearms for years. Just wasn't sure about pcp gun o rings? Air rifles are knew to me. I read somewhere only silicone oil.

If you're specifically lubing the o-rings I'd stick with silicone grease. If you're worried about collateral damage from wiping down the gun there's no problem with Ballistol..

Yes, was just worrying about cleaning the barrel when it needs it.
