Anyone install a Huma Reg, on 22 Mutant. Good?

My little Mutant 22 is about 10 -12 years old never been opened up, Got a small leak, leaks down from 220 to 200 bar in a few days but not all the time so I figure its the regulator and If I am going in I will just install a Huma if the reports come back good, So is the Huma good for the Mutant?

Did you use soap and water to verify where the leak is coming from? O rings are pretty cheap so I would go that route before dropping in a huma

Use the balloon on the barrel to tell if the poppet seal going bad. My new to me Vet leak down to 160b through the barrel, I’vebad poppet seal and (or modified valve). Replaced both, good now.

I have a Huma reg I use as a spare when working on Mutant regs. Just replaced all reg o rings this summer on both my mutants. So I expect you are about due for new o rings. The Huma works I just never used it for any length of time.

I just put a Huma in a Kalibrgun and and got this and it's within the first 50 shots after installing it...

I'll take 4 shots with the exact same velocity in a row as a very good sign Best I have done with other setups is dup2.

Do you have the O-rng sizes by any chance for the stock reg?

I got a big baggie full of O rings for Mutant I got from Jaime/Daman back on the T A G site, I don't mind spending a little money on a gun that was been as good as the Mutant, Its my true ugly duckling but I kind of made it that way.

I just put a Huma reg in my Mutant Shorty in hopes of solving a leak issue, but I still have the leak. Turns out the air is coming out of the breach block. I have no idea what would cause that. Anybody know what might be going on?
On another note, I'm just trying to fix it so I can sell it. I love this gun! It's wildly accurate and quiet, but I just don't get to shoot anymore and want it to have a good home. I would do a screaming deal if someone wants a great gun that needs a little TLC.

Haddn't thought about it actually. $500? I paid 900. It would come with two mags, the original (and apparently fine) reg, plus the new Huma reg.
