Ever since I got a daisy powerline 880, I was hooked. I already spent way too much on various air guns, I just gotta have the best of each category, BB pistol, PCP Pistol, Springer rifles, PCP rifles. I gotta stop.

now if you had been doing this for 20 years and have over 100 guns then we will take sympathy on you

Yesterday i could not find 2 impacts in 2 cases. First thing I thought was who took them? Then I started thinking boy there must be at least 5 k in those 2 boxes.. wait there were scopes on the impacts too, that make the jump to more than 8 k. I started to freak, 
then I found them.
Unfortunately after reading this post I started counting again.

20 years ago I used to have a monthly fun budget - I changed that to a yearly fun/materialistic crap fund, so if I blow it all on a large purchase or sprinkle it throughout the year, it's going to be what it is.

Impact x, impact mk2, crown mk2, royale 400, dreamline classic, and benjamine PROD, plus compressor, tanks, ammo, scopes etc, etc, etc. way too much fun.

And even though we may think we are in deep there are others that will think nothing of what we spent and are in so much deeper it would be really scary to even think how much money they spent.

Er no. I know what my take home is, I know what my outlay is, one should act accordingly. There's plenty of fun to be had with well researched low end air guns. For example: P17s, 1077, 753s, umarex legends, crosman SBR, and the such. Good for you if you have means. For me, I'm still trying to trade tile work for a Huben GK1

Compared to what some people spend on cars, jewelry, computers, alcohol, phones, watches, the lawn, cigarettes etc etc I think airguns aren’t too bad. I know most of my airguns will get 50 cents on the dollar. Can’t say the same for many of the other things…

And magically — we don't look so bad anymore.....!!
Maybe even easier to relate to... — how much money many spend regularly on the newest cellphone — no matter if it starts with an i or an a....
