Tuning Any Old School Theoben Rapid guys on here? -- Leaking problem

Finally got back from out of state travel and thanks to @TheOtherPursuit, I was able to get the threaded nozzle removed with his tool and the O-ring replaced. Added some thread sealing paste and reinstalled. Filled up the tank and it now holds air beautifully!!

Yeah step 1 finished!!

Secondly went to screw the bottle back into the housing chamber with the charged bottle and apparently the other O-ring was old too as it cracked and immediately started leaking air like crazy.

I went back to the industrial hydraulic supply store where I purchased the previous gasket and got what looked to be the correct replacement O-ring based on density and size...

However even this new one leaks like no other.

So I'm hoping maybe someone on here might know what that size and specs are for that O-ring in order to try and get this leaking issue resolved as well.

Thanks in advance!!

@Airgunmann... thanks for the responses

First response, yes the bottle screws into the main housing until the 2 metal sleeves meet, thus preventing any further tightening. It is at this point that the air streams out fast enough to drain the full bottle in 30 seconds or so.

Second response: the size you provided, "Buna 90 O-rings 10.77 x 2.62mm" was exactly what I'm hoping will assist in securing the proper sizing. Thank you! I'll do some digging tomorrow around too see if I can find that size. In looking at the original below, it's definitely thicker than the one currently installed that leaks:

Greatly appreciate the advice and info!

Finally returned from back to back business trips!!

Was able to put everything back together and she's holding air beautifully now. Thank you to all who provided input and a special thanks to @Airgunmann for the tool, advice and suggestions. Those O-rings worked beautifully and we're back to driving holes through pigeons at over 65ft/lbs with this wonderful .25 cal monster.

Thanks to ALL!!

Great to see that you found and fixed the leak. I have two old Rapids, know exactly about those little frustrating moments but when you sort them out it gives you such a rewarding feeling. Most valves/parts are user rebuildable, the quick fill of my MK2 started to leak recently but after a good clean and overhaul it holds air and shoots wonderfully again. My current setup with custom .30 barrel and last night's group from the indoor range:

I have an AZ Rapid just like yours and I lost my quick connect fitting. Do you have any idea what type of female quick connect fitting I need? I have the same male connector on my buddy bottle that you have in the pictures.

Naturally wait for shootingnewb and my memory isnt too great these day's but ti should be a standard Parker fitting.

I have mine down with Martin right now getting an overhaul. I am planning on swapping out the cylinder with a carbon tank, if that happens I will have a spare AZ fitting. It's yours if you want.
