I receive chrono error message on my three months old alpha wolf. any idea how to fix it?

No idea...Send it in to AOA. They will get it fixed, be patient they wil have it awhile....

Not sure if it’s related to your error message, but I occasionally need to use a long cotton swab and alcohol to get mine reading again.
If that does not correct it, remove the shrouded and reposition the pogo pin connection.

I cleaned it with electronic contact cleaner and now its ok again,

Contact cleaner might be good for the pogo pin contacts, but I’d rather use rubbing alcohol or something like Windex to swab out the chronograph window tube.

Start by thoroughly cleaning the chrono - videos a plenty on AOA YouTube channel and Daystate website. Double Check your pin connect at shroud and remember to leave a business card gap at shroud - after that cycle the gun on and off and fire it a few times and check error message again. The AOA YouTube videos will probably resolve your issues; easy peasy!

They could have just sent the barrel? You can shoot without the chrono? Nice to have a second barrel with chronograph in a different caliber - could have swapped barrel and chronograph and see if it worked. If it did you could just send the bad chronograph back and keep shooting.
