Question: are there bears in that area where you hunt ?
If so,do you have a plan 'B' in case one show up uninvited ?

Absolutely! I've shot a few bears in areas that you guys have watched. Bears are around way more than people would ever think. Their sense of awareness is unbelievable, and they know you are there 99% of the time. Black bears, which are the species in my area, very much avoid humans and appear to be harmless. Unless of corse you run into a mother with Cubs... In that scenario, I would just pay no attention and take different direction. At least that's my Premeditated plan..... But when all else fails one of my ESEE blades is always ready! Great question!
