Airforce barrels

I'm looking to buy an airforce condor ss or as it is known here gunpower XS in .25.
i also want a .177 barrel and a .22 one.
To my understanding i can install any barrel i want with little mods.
For example the .177 can be an fx one ST.
the .22 can even be a bsa barrel.
what do you guys think?

Nope , the barrel has to be a af barrel unless you can machine the back of the barrel down like af does to all its baarrels. The cocking nob will not slide over the barrel unless it's machined down exactly like af does to all lw barrels.

Also it is my understanding that you can't swap .177 barrel with .25 gun without valve change....
I have a Talon SS and a Condor...... in .25 ...great guns

Hey I have the .25 condor ss also. I would like to get a .177 barrel but would need to buy a new air bottle made for it. But recently I bought a super hat. It is an adjustable top hat with different sized inserts to restrict the air coming out. The gentleman who sold it to me said i could use the smallest insert and use that for a .177 cal. barrel. Maybe someone else has tried it?

Its not the size of the port thats the problem. The .177 needs a stiffer spring in the valve or you may experience tank dumps.

Yup, different valves for different calibers.

Oh did not know that. Thanks for the info. I will have to save longer now for a new bottle and barrel.

even for the latest models ? my dealer says that only the .177 barrel needs to be changed.
BTW i have the gunpower xs model.

That maybe the case in England where you are limited to 12 ft lb. I know you have no power wheel for adjustment. Think it best you talk to an authorized GunPower dealer in how things work there.

I'm not in england. i have the full power version with wheel and everything .
but I guess its better to talk an authorized dealer , i'll send them a mail.
