Airgun Technologies adjusting cocking rod

What I mean is the cocking lever is not snapping closed... I would like to adjust it so that it does..
There is an o-ring located in front of the cocking lug the cocking lever is attached to. (It surrounds the barrel and rides back and forth in front of the lug) If it's missing the slight tension needed to cause tension will be reduced. Also if the T20 screw that attaches the cocking lever to the lug, may have come loose and may cause the same thing. Other than that, timing of the probe may have somehow gotten loose as well causing a timing issue.
