Hey guys,
spent some time gathering data for EBR today. Last minute entry in the big-bore class with my little big-bore .308 Slayer, haha. Trying to nail down an exact BC from muzzle to a 300 yard target is maddening! (but I love it) As I figured out long ago, ballistic coefficient is pretty dynamic.. you can plug in a number and it’ll be perfect for a portion of the flight... Anyway, I’m bringing a scalpel to a sword fight! The .308 Slayer was not intended to be a 300 yard rifle, but it’s feisty as all hell, so I’m going for it. In the midst of all this data BS, I took a few deep breaths and shot a couple of nice groups. Current tune: 970 fps with NSA 99gn for Aprox 206fpe
SHOULDER RESTED, Atlas bipod..that’s it. Hoping to meet at least a few of you in AZ next week!
