Another good day (and night) 2 grey tree rats and a couple more masked bandits. Gamo .177, 8 grain hollow point, 1 shot kills from 30 feet. Pellet tucked right behind the ear. Reducing the problem with bird feeder damage and garbage can spilling and container garden raiding. I have a wireless doorbell (driveway alarm) set near the feeder and the chime is in my bedroom. It wakes me up when a pest is trying to steal my seed. I go to the spare bedroom (2nd floor right above the bird feeder which is under the back door patio light), I wipe the sleep out of my one good eye and aim right behind the ear. The sensor I bought I picked up at home depot. Its only got a audible alarm, (no light-up alert) As for lighting at night, the bird feeder is close enough to the back of the house that the 3 yard lights near the patio door is ample to shoot through a scope. Also got 2 grey tree rats.
