Trying to figure out what may be the best choice of slugs for the .257 Texan. what are ya'll shooting? Obviously accuracy is key, but rifle is for hunting so carnage is also key on small to medium game up to coyotes.

I've tried NSA slugs in 70, 75, 80, and 85 grains but none of them shot as good as a 72 grain slugs from some dude on Ebay.
I'm interested to see what other people are shooting. I've thought about buying a couple of Lee slugs resizers to see if a smaller size will shoot better but financially/time I haven't gotten around to it

NSA 85 grain is extremely accurate. Rick Rehm just shot off hand a balloon at 520 yards. The 85 grain is sub moa in the Texan.
