I know they have the polymag shorts in .22 but has anyone heard anything about the shorts in 25cal? It would be nice to be able to shoot some polymags from my Wildcat 25... Especially since I have a couple tins. Maybe one of you guys that correspond with Jsb could ask about production.?

.25 Cal predator polymag shorts

They are a short profile in the manner of the short .22 and .177 pellets, not like the originals of those other calibres.
.25 cal Polymags are 0.409". H&N Baracudas/Beeman Kodiaks are 0.394" so if there is any room at all spare for Baracudas in a magazine, the Polymags should fit. I only have single shot .25 rifles by choice so can't test them in a magazine for you. The originals are absolutely the best expanding and by far the most accurate expanding pellet for me. I hope they don't stop making it.

No the polymags do not fit in any of the Fx magazines I have the rotary mag and the new style with the wildcat. I heard someone mention cutting off the tip, but I'm afraid the accuracy will be thrown off if so.

Yeah AoA mentioned to me when I tried to purchase some of the Polymags that I would have to trim the tips down to make them work in the .25 Wildcat. I wonder if just bumping the tips on an abrasive disk on a grinder would do the trick.

Yeah you could, but I was thinking on a grinder or something like that it would be easier to shape the tip while shaving it down to size. That way you could try and retain its ballistic integrity or whatever. I think just cutting the tip off or whatever would create inconsistent tips.. A lot of work though for little gain..
