11mm to Picatinny Rail Adapter - Has anyone used these? (photo)

They seem like a nice, clean way to put picatinny mounts on a dove tail rail. But, the price spooks me a bit. Am I reading too much into what I "think" a good piece of gear should cost?

I have a set ,They do work but also will allow or do make my scope sit canted up a little on one side when the picatinny mount is locked down
so in a pinch there OK but I would like a more sold setup if your going to use them as a more or less permanent setup

These might be better? I used the ones you linked and did not feel they were worth using. Had a similar experience as 220Swift.

If youre lucky, they will fit perfectly for your raiI. The problem (to me) is that these adapters (and a lot of scope rings) are made to fit rails from 9.5mm to 11mm, not a specific width. And here comes the little rant :
I wish manufacturers could agree on a common standard for what the smaller rails should look like (angle and width). The machinist in me feels sick every time i fit a scope with what should be the correct parts. If i can see an air gap, its not good enough.

I have a set of these in my Wildcat with Leupold rings. No issue whatsoever. A bit funky to put on, but solid installed.

I find that for the most part the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true. In this case for $9.29 you likely don't get something that will complement a $500+ scope. However, this is all conjecture in this case as I haven't actually used them.

I think BKL makes this same part and they look to be petty good quality I have my first set of BKL offset rings coming they were not cheap but I liked the way they work always keeping the mount centered. I can't say they are great until I get them and give them a try.

Aaron, I have several of those BKL's adapters. They are excellent. But, they add 5/8" to the scope height. I was looking for something more compact. If BKL made something like the product in my original post, I would not hesitate to buy it.

Sooo....I think I'll pick up a set of the ones I posted at the top. They may work....they may not. Generally speaking, I agree that you get what you pay for. But every so often you come across a "cheap" piece of gear that just plain works.

Ted I have them on two rifles they work great just make sure you use a little silicone grease on the shafts and exercise them a bit they can be a little sticky out of the box.
Also I have mine opposed they just seem to fit better.

In between those two choices you have a Leapers/UTG mount. The dovetail clamp is 3" long, and there are two mounting screws spaced 2" apart. The top rail is 4" and has 9 slots and it is about 1/4" less in height than the BKL's.. That would probably work well on the Bobcat. Two different NV scopes work with this set up.

I use those very same adapters on my air force rifles for bi-pod,laser, and light attachment.Haven't had any issues,have always worked great for me.I just leave them loose in my bi-pod and the quick detach tightens it when i put on different rifles.Bought mine from amazon.

I use them on a Benjamin Marauder .22 with very good results. The scope is a Hawke Sidewinder 30 4-16 x 50 on Leupold PRW low scope rings. The adaptors are very unobtrusive and add zero height to the scope. Take a look, I think it looks pretty clean.

I would just add, be careful when mounting them. Make sure your rings are aligned to each other and centered on the rail. You can rotate your adaptors 180 deg to make adjustment.

I been using the UTG version, got on amazon, for a few years. For scoops and sights, works fine.
