    Misenheimer’s Counter top

What’s going on at the Misenheimer’s house? You know it has to do with Airguns because I have a big AIRGUN NATION sticker on my cup. Can’t say anymore at this time but something is in the works.

Day 5 - INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE

My friends that know me well will recall that I have been talking about an indoor shooting range for a couple of years. This week it’s going to happen! I have a metal building that is 45’ wide by 60’ long. That will give me almost a 20 yard range. I plan to make it 8’ wide and 8’ tall. I also...

    My new favorite airgun!

I have owned some very nice airguns like AirArms, Daystate, and FX but I don’t believe I’ve had more fun than when I’m shootings my new Uragan Compact .22 cal. I cannot say enough good things about this gun. It’s built like a brick but not heavy. It’s solid, robust, and just well made. I love...

Thumbs up to AIRGUN NATION FORUM

I often see posts on Airgun Nation singing the praises of its sponsors and I think that is good. Based on what I have read I bought a brand new airgun, scope, rings and several other smaller items. This site is home to so many good sponsors that I all I have to do is click on their banners to...

I shot the LCS SK-19 today

I called AOA last week and spoke with Rich. He asked me have you ordered the LCS yet? I said what’s an LCS? Then I heard rapid firing in the background and finally understood what he was talking about. I was able to hold this airgun (LCS SK-19) at RMAC and have to tell you I’m impressed. It felt...

Look what came in the mail today...long brown box

Look at this beauty! I was so excited to get my hands on this baby. Just look what she did! It was windy and I was sitting on a 3 legged stool. Can’t imagine what this baby will do when I get a scope on her. Chuck

    I don’t always shoot pellets........

I don’t always shoot pellets but when I do, I shoot JSBs. What did we do before Airguns came along? My first pellet gun was an R10 Beeman. It had a Beeman scope and had such recoil I had to put stops behind the scope mounts to keep it from moving. I even had a Beeman pouch which inspired me...

    Father and son shooting

My son had a day off last week and I asked him if he wanted to shoot the airguns. I live on some acreage so I raised the door on the back of my metal building and he shot some spinners I have set up at 50 yards. He shot one spinner and then the other, hitting it every time. Then he said...

    Airguns and Leather

If you own an airgun you probably own a chronograph. How do you keep a record of what your gun shoots or do you? Well I have used a large notebook, a medium size and even a small one BUT I have come up with a new record keeping book. The oil field business uses a book they call a “Tally book”...

    Feedlot in South Texas

Cold and windy today and in the 50s but still had a good shoot with John Tafoya. I was shooting my FX 500 and John the Impact both in 25 cal. Shot starlings, pigeons, house sparrows, cow birds and grackles. Will be returning to Phoenix end of month to do some real bird shooting.

BEST PELLET POUCH ON THE MARKET

I have seen several photos of pellet pouches on the forum, and some on eBay but I have not seen any that come close to the quality I make. These have a 6” opening and about 4” deep. They will easily hold more that a tin of pellets. These are made of soft oil tan leather. Many of you know me and...

    Grilling the Eurasian Collared Dove

This is a fine bird to shoot and a delicious one to eat! TX Parks & Wilelife tells me that the collared dove will displace the mourning dove so most of the permissions that I have want me to shoot them. I usually make a run just for these dove and get enough to grill. I will post this in...

First trip using my Daystate Redwolf .25

My friend Larry came down from Virginia to shoot some with me. I filled the tanks with air and loaded the guns in the truck and headed out. It was the first time shooting my new Daystate Redwolf and it did NOT disappoint. It is also the quietest gun in my collection. My longest shot on a pigeon...
