Will Spring Get Damaged If Compressed Too Long?

There is lots of info on the web about spring fatigue from leaving a gun cocked. Leaving a spring gun cocked for two hours while hunting should not effect the spring. Especially if the spring was set before it was installed. I routinely leave my spring guns cocked for several hours while hunting...

Which Of Your Current Guns Has Really Impressed You The Most

The gun that impressed me the most was my Benjamin Marauder II in .25 caliber with wood stock. I have a TSS installed and have it tuned to shoot jsb .25 grain pellets at 820fps average for 25 good shots off a 3200psi fill. The gun is laser accurate consistently shooting 1/2 inch five shot groups...

I think of break barrels when I think of pellet guns

Other than stating you shot thousands of .177 as a kid you don't say what caliber you prefer..I mention this because if you choose .177 you can't go wrong with a HW95 in .177 caliber. The HW95 is lighter than a RWS34 and both rifles are very close on power. The RWS 34 is slightly more powerful...

Quest for reasonabley priced .177 easy shooter that is somewhat accurate

I love my B28 from Mike in .25 caliber. I put a Vortex kit and oring seal in the gun. It averages 710fps with H&N 19.90 FT pellets. Shot cycle is smooth and vibration free, accuracy is sub MOA at 40 yards. Good trigger got nothing but good things to say about my B28.

Quest for reasonabley priced .177 easy shooter that is somewhat accurate

Go to Flying Dragon Airguns , there are several.different Xiscico models that he sells tuned for 200.00 or less. Personally I think the B26 was one of the best Chinese guns, a copy of the HW95 complete with a copied Rekord trigger. I have one in .22 caliber that I tuned and it is very accurate...

    HW95 Stock Refinish

Looks good, I've seen some post where guys made nice tyrolen stocks from the B26-2 thumbhole stock. I bought a B26 with the standard stock in .22 caliber. I did a custom tune on the gun making a nylon guide and tophat. Seal.and spring came from Macarri. The cylinder was honed and piston was...

    Umarex Hammer

When I looked at the PA web site it stated expected in stock date of 7/31/2018. I'll wait awhile.before ordering. Rick E. has a video of them shooting it at the shot show range. Stated three shots per fill but they filled it after two. Had a short easy cocking stroke. Looks promising for sure...

    Hw35 (probably from 1969) *update*

Looks like it's a survivor in great shape. Get the seal softened up and start shooting.

    Shot my hw97

Congrats on you new gun. I've been there myself, love not having to worry about air. Especially when out in the field. However I keep going back to PCP so don't sell your precharged rifles. Now I shoot springers in .177 and .22, PCP in larger calibers and have a blast doing it.

    Hw35 (probably from 1969) *update*

I have a HW35 made in either 1969 or 70 according to the serial number. It's stock with leather seal and spring. After soaking the seal in synthetic oil it shoots extremely smooth with no twang or vibration. I chronied it with 8,4 jsb pellets. Extreme spread is with in 10fps and velocity...

New Brocock Bantam Hilite Leaking (slow) - update - repaired under warranty

Good deal glad it worked out. I would still shoot 25-30 pellets down range before sending it back to seat the valve poppet. When working on a PCP always make sure it is empty of all air. If your trying to remove the fill port and it is hard to turn after you break it loose stop immediately. The...

New Brocock Bantam Hilite Leaking (slow) - update - repaired under warranty

Was the rifle empty of all air when you checked the gauge andfill port, if not pressure will give a false tight. Soapy water should have shown a leak at them anyway. Take a balloon and pull it all the way over the bore. If the valve is leaking pressure will inflate or push it off the barrel. ...

New Brocock Bantam Hilite Leaking (slow) - update - repaired under warranty

I would make sure it was empty of all air and check to make sure every thing was tight. Put a balloon over the muzzle to see if the valve is slow leaking down the bore. I would pull the gauge and put some yellow ( for gas ) thread tape on it and reinstall. If it has a foster male quick fill I...

    Predator gun?

I hear that, funny how stuff like that always happens at the worse times. The ,50 puts out more ft/lbs because it shoots a heavier slug. Velocity will be lower however and effective range will require more hold over. For coyotes the .357 is the way to go. If you send the gun off to Will he...

    Predator gun?

Seneca Recluse in 9mm will make you a nice coyote gun. It is for the most part ambi except for the safety which is in the front of the trigger guard. I'm a lefty too, and have delt with issues the same as you. The safety will be a pain but workable as I am sure you know. The Recluse also has an...
