How do you fill your PCP?

I have an Altaros compressor booster that I use in conjunction with my garage compressor and an extra dryer to fill my airguns directly and slooooowly top off my CF tank, when needed. (https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/best-portable-compressor.1037382/post-1038105) It's working fine for me so...

    Umarex Notos conundrum.

Well...I tried the fill & fire several times suggestion to see if that would possibly clear some errant debris holding a valve open and fix the problem. The reseller (Airguns of Arizona) contacted me vial email and phone with an RMA number right away, so I have sent the unit back for an...

    Umarex Notos conundrum.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I really appreciate the feedback. I haven't heard back from the vendor yet, and my plan is to try Firewalker's suggestions to see if that fixes the problem. I will post here to let everyone know if the "cock, fill & fire" method works, or if I have to go...

    Umarex Notos conundrum.

After reading several threads and watching multiple reviews, I recently purchased an Umarex Notos to fill a PCP carbine niche in my small collection of air rifles, and I'm planning to modify it similar to this thread...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

Carm magazines for my Umarex Notos inbound from AoA. I think I have a problem. I don't want any help getting better. 😂

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

Great looking carbines, all! This thread, plus this one https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/umarex-notos-has-arrived.1281703/ (warning: 45 page thread), convinced me to give this carbine a try as a light weight plinking/pesting rig. Thank you to everyone for sharing on both posts...the...

Best budget springer if you HAD to stay under $200?

Diana 34, if you can find one on sale. The only other budget springer I own is a Crosman Fire NP4 in .177. That rifle is frustrating, but I got it on sale for $80 and put a $30 Charlie da Tuna trigger in it. It shoots better than before, but I got bored with it and moved on to other rifles...

Tuning FX DreamTac or DreamLite - Is a barrel band needed?

qball, looks like my barrel is just barely above the air tube without the moderator (sliver of light visible between the two). Surprisingly, with the moderator attached it doesn't seem to close the gap (still not touching).

Having issues using the new site features? Report bugs here

Michael, first, great new site. Thank you for putting your hard earned time (and money) into it. I really like the layout, and I'm sure that this cannot be cheap or easy to do. I did notice an issue: I wandered over to the streaming link, and it worked fine, but I was not able to return to...

    The powder burners are coming!

I came from a mainly powder-burning background. I started on a Daisy 99 BB gun, and shot a little bit of 10m to boost my off-hand shooting for small bore (.22) rifle. More folks participating = good for the hobby! It might take time, but maybe more sales will lead to faster innovation...

Getting your children out hunting with you even with physical limitations...

Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing, and kudos to you for getting him involved! When you actually get him out on a hunt where he can see what's happening, you'll need a second camera on his expression, because that'll be better than any trophy you hunt!

A little too close for comfort…

Wow! That would have turned what looks like a nice day into a nightmare! I'm glad you weren't tagged, and that your kids weren't around to be at risk. I guess you'll have a new SOP to check the benches for visitors before you start shooting. I definitely would have had to change my...

Optic suggestion for close range pesting.

I haven't hunted rattle snakes (or any snakes), but I have hunted pigeons, rats, and collared doves with a CO2 powered Crosman 2240 using this red dot sight out to 30 yards, with zero problems: ...

Tuning FX DreamTac or DreamLite - Is a barrel band needed?

    I haven’t checked. I will look at that too. Unfortunately, I don’t have a .25 cal Tonto…only a .22 cal.

Tuning FX DreamTac or DreamLite - Is a barrel band needed?

Thank you everyone for your replies and insight. It looks like I have some more testing to do. First with making sure that everything is tightened up, and shooting some groups with the Benjamin domed pellets, playing with the hammer spring to see if I can get the velocity plot to smooth out...

Teaching kids with Downs to shoot air rifles.

Hey everyone. I hope nobody thought I had abandoned this topic, and I have some feedback for the group. I finally got my son on a day that he was interested in shooting the air rifle in the back yard with me. I tried multiple times to get him to shoot out back with me since I started this...

Tuning FX DreamTac or DreamLite - Is a barrel band needed?

OK. The weather in TX this past weekend was just too good not to break out the air rifles and do some shooting. I broke out my .25cal DreamTac and was just shooting some groups of Benjamin Domed pellets. The rifle seemed to be shooting OK, but is not quite "tuned" yet. I'm still getting a...

    Are We asking Too Much?

To get back on track with the OP, I would say that his two expectations are spot-on: integrity and communication. Most successful business are built on the first quality, otherwise they would likely fail, being beaten out by other, more honest, vendors. Communication has always been...
