AGT Vixen Long .22, Shot count at 200 bar question

Hello. I am interested in the AGT Vixen Long in .22. I see the shot count at about 60 on the regulator when filled to 300 bar. I have a YH compressor that I use to fill my bottle to 4200 PSI. I don't want to push my compressor any higher than that. So, that kinda limits my fills on air rifles...

FX2000 or Tarantula keeps breaking valve pins

Hello, I have an FX2000 in .22 that I’ve had since 2003. I don’t shoot it much because it keeps breaking the main valve pin. The pin breaks where the pin is cut down to hold the very small o-ring. I get 1000 to 2000 shots and the pin breaks. This will be the 4th time I’ve replaced it...

    Daystate magazine problem

I have a Wolverine 2 in .177, and it shoots very accurately with a single shot tray. But when I use the magazine I get fliers fairly frequently. It seems to be the 8th through 10th shot that does this. Has anyone else experienced this? Would the new mag design help? They are $110, so I don't...

What is acceptable accuracy at 30 yards? Am I expecting too much?

Hello, I have a .177 Daystate Wolverine 2. (non-regulated) I have tried JSB 10.34, 8.44, FX 10.3, H&N FTT, H&N Baracuda Match. About the best group I can get is between 3/8 and 1/2" rested at 30 yards. Does this seem reasonable or should the groups be tighter? I feel like at 30 yards, there...

Has anyone added a Huma regulator to a Wolverine bottle gun?

Hello! Has anyone here fitted a Huma regulator to a Wolverine bottle gun? If you have, would you post a picture of it? I know it moves the bottle closer to the muzzle and I am worried it will look terrible. My gun is getting 170 shots with a spread of 63 fps. If I adjust fill pressure to the...

    Tuning Home built spring compressor

Made from some old scope rings, 1" aluminum rod, scrap aluminum block, 1/2-13 threaded rod, and a 1-3/4" diameter x 2" delrin rod. The aluminum block has a slot in it so you can adjust the threaded rod to be centered on the receiver.

HW100. Regal, or S510... Help me decide

I’m looking for advice. I’m looking to buy a high quality PCP in .177. I bought an FX Crown and it would not hold a decent group for me. I worked very hard on tuning and setup, but just couldn’t make it work, so it had to go back. I am debating between HW100, Daystate Regal, and Air Arms S510...

Accuracy problem with .177 FX Crown

I'm having problems with my new .177 Crown. The barrel leads up in 2 to 3 mags and accuracy goes to hell. I clean it with a pull through, and then it's pellet on pellet for 2 to 3 mags. When I clean it, you can see chips of lead on the patch. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks! Mike

Looking for Crown tune settings for .177

Hello! I have a Crown VP in .177 coming tomorrow. I'm looking for suggested regulator and hammer tune settings for an accurate efficient setup. I'm not looking for power, just accuracy and high shot count. Thanks! Mike

Does the Huntsman Regal really benefit from a regulator?

And is it worth the extra $150? Does it increase shot count or just minimize velocity deviation? Thanks! Mike
