Thanks for the response TinBoat. I am aware of the potential problems using the pipe in some applications, like in plumbing for shop air - although I don't think it applies here. Perhaps you can share what your concerns are in using the pipe in this application or others. KZ

I think standard PVC Schedule 40 irrigation pipe at 1.50 dia has an operating pressure of 198 psi and a minimum burst pressure of 1060 psi. At 198 psi that would give more that 2 times the working pressure. Schedule 80 will give you around 50% additional.

I'm bumping this to the top. I think there are more .22 cal Wildcat owners out there and I'm hoping more will respond here. I'm thinking perhaps a .25 cal block was used on my .22 cal rifle and this could be a reason for some inaccuracies in my groups. Any help out there? KZ
